An open lecture on the Association Agreement between EU and Ukraine was presented by Roman Vakalchuk (Institute Economic Relations, Oslo) at TNEU Academic Council Hall. The event took place within the framework of the project "Ukraine - Norway", which provides for professional retraining of the reserve servicemen of armed forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies, members of their families and assistance in their employment. The project is being implemented at TNEU and its purpose is to reduce the impact of the negative social consequences of economic reforms and defense sector reforms on Ukrainians. The meeting was extremely interesting and educational.

Roman Vakalchuk answered questions about practical aspects of implementing the agreement on cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, positive and negative consequences of the implementation of European legislation. Participants of the project "Ukraine - Norway" invited Roman Vakalchuk to visit Ternopil National Economic University once again to exchange ideas and experiences. Also, Roman Vakalchuk met with the rector and the administration of the university and talked about the implementation of the new project, and establishing cooperation through joint activities.
